Five Minute Friday: Plan

Plan …

Homeschooling is hard work it’s not as easy as some may think. It requires discipline, persistance, and lots of grace. We print and write and print and write. We discover and pitch things on a weekly basis.
We want our children to be stronger and more independent than we were growing up. We want what’s best for them and will adjust and change as much as necessary.
But if you will admit it, and like me, we plan and plan and our thought out fantastic plans fall away over time. We need to press forward and realize not everything we plan NEEDS to happen.
Let’s show them Jesus and not allow our “plans” to fustrate them or us for the sake of checking them off

  1. I think homeschooling is one of the greatest things to do for our children, if it’s done in the fashion that you have explained. We do, after all, want to be able to see them through to college if that is what they want to accomplish. Visiting from FMF. Blessings upon your little School House!

  2. I don’t homeschool but I have found sometimes the act of planning is to open your eyes to something completely new that was not previously in your horizon.
